On November 18, 2025, the VDA Yellow Volume Product Compliance – Volume 2: Product Safety and Product Conformity was officially released. Since the introduction of the VDA Product Integrity in 2018, the appointment of Product Safety and Compliance Representatives (PSCR) has become a cornerstone requirement across German OEMs and their supply chains. These dedicated professionals have significantly contributed to reducing product defects and compliance incidents, creating substantial value throughout the automotive supply chain.

As automotive products grow more complex and regulatory requirements continue to evolve, the VDA Product Compliance 2  Working Group has completed a comprehensive update to PSCR-related standards. The new Yellow Volume draws on valuable insights and recommendations from the Chinese Mirror Working Group, reflecting the unique requirements of China's regulatory landscape and industry context.
